The Organice app

On Base: Smart Copy, receipt tally, deterministic document naming, folder rules, safety checks, and undo run locally. The base product does not require an AI account or a cloud service.

Organice stores information needed to do its job on your Mac. That includes a signed license token, preferences, undo journals, and per-folder contracts. Journals and contracts can contain local file paths and the rules for folders you have organized. This local data is not an online Organice account.

Optional Pro AI

Buying Pro does not connect Organice to anything. The app remains entirely on-device until you configure a provider yourself. You can use a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, or an OpenAI-compatible remote provider.

Organice makes no network requests of its own. Four actions can use an AI provider, and only if you set one up yourself: Summarize, Rename by content, filename suggestions, and Organize. Summarize and Rename by content ask for your consent the first time. AI-assisted Organize is off by default and must be switched on; when it is on, it sends filenames, sizes and modification dates, never file contents.

Folder rules stay on-device in every case. Rule and folder names reach a model only when AI-assisted Organice is explicitly enabled.

With a local model, nothing leaves your Mac. If that model is unavailable, Organice stops the assisted action; it never falls back to the cloud. If you choose a remote provider, its own privacy and retention terms apply to what those actions send.

Licenses and purchases

Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy terms. Organice receives the purchase details needed to issue a license, including the buyer email and tier. The resulting signed token contains the email, tier, and issue date. The app verifies that token offline and does not need to phone home to keep the license active.

This website

This site does not intentionally set advertising cookies or run product analytics at launch. The hosting provider may process ordinary request logs such as IP address, browser information, and request time to deliver and secure the site.

If you contact us by email, we receive the address and message you send. We use it to answer the request and manage release access.
